JXN, Mississippi — March 5—Visit Jackson’s President & CEO, Rickey Thigpen, Ph.D., who also serves as Secretary of the Destinations International Board of Directors, recently attended an exclusive, invitation-only gathering of global tourism leaders in Dublin, Ireland.
The inaugural Destinations International Global Leadership Forum brought together top executives from 60 leading destinations to discuss critical issues in tourism, hospitality, and destination marketing. The event focused on key topics for C-suite leaders, including sustainability, social inclusion, leadership, geopolitics, and the future of global tourism. This forum marked a significant milestone for the international travel sector, fostering discussions on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities.
